How do I measure for a properly sized “Personalized Name Bracelet”?
Proper sizing of your custom made name bracelet is very important so please read and follow the measuring instructions carefully in order to insure that you receive jewelry that fits properly.
1. Determine the bracelet size you need by measuring your actual wrist size with a flexible tape measure. You will need to measure snuggly around your wrist. If you do not have a tape measure, you can use a ribbon instead by fitting the ribbon snuggly around your wrist, cut the ribbon to size, then measure the ribbon with a ruler.
2. Toggle clasp bracelets - If your bracelet has a toggle clasp, add 1 ¼ inches to your actual wrist size for a close fitting bracelet or 1 ½ inches for a more loose fitting bracelet.
Heart claw or traditional lobster clasp bracelets - If your bracelet has a heart claw or lobster clasp, add 1 inch to your actual wrist size for a close fitting bracelet or 1 ¼ inches for a more loose fitting bracelet.
What is your guarantee on the length of a "Personalized Name Bracelet"?
Your bracelet may vary from the size you order by up to 1/4 inch, depending on the design. All personalized name bracelets are made as close as possible to the SIZE YOU ORDER (including the clasp).
How are your “One of a Kind” jewelry items measured?
At Margo Rask Designs, we measure our jewelry designs from end to end including the clasp. Designs from our Trendsetting, Elegant Bridal and Formal, and Precious Baby and Little Girl lines are already made and sizes are listed along with a more detailed description for your viewing. Be sure to look at the measurements provided and note your own measurements in order to select a design that is best suited for you!
What if I want to purchase something from the Margo Rask Designs online store but it is not the correct size for me?
If you find something on our website that you would like to order, but you need the size changed, please e-mail or call us with your request before making the purchase, this will enable us to verify that an adjustment can be made.
Please check the sizes given for each product before purchasing to avoid having to send it back because it doesn't fit.
Necklace, bracelet, and earring lengths are given in inches. When determining if a size is right for you keep in mind that larger beads and stones require more space, and therefore increased length is needed.
Can you bring a vintage piece of my jewelry up to date, or make an item at my request?
Yes, we can rework a piece of vintage jewelry that you have to bring it up to date. You can also commission us to create a piece to go with that special outfit that you have. Contact Margo to talk about the piece that you want us to create. All custom orders require a non-refundable 50% deposit due at the time the order is placed, with the remaining 50% due at the time of shipping. All commission and special request sales are final.

We hope that you will be thrilled with your one of a kind Margo Rask Designs jewelry. Keeping that in mind, we understand that internet photography is not always as precise as viewing an item in person. If you are not satisfied with your purchase we will accept unused and non-damaged returns or exchanges within 7 days from the date of receipt. If you want to return an item you must contact us by phone or e-mail stating the reason for wanting the return; upon approval you will be given a return authorization code. Once your return request has been approved and you have received the authorization code, you will need to mail your package back insured. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments that are uninsured through the mail. We do not reimburse for shipping charges. Replacement orders and/or a refund will be promptly sent upon return of the merchandise as long as you return it in its original, undamaged condition.
If I return an item, when can I expect a refund?
We will process your return/refund promptly upon receipt of the approved returned item (see above question on our Return/Exchange Policy); however refunds generally appear on your credit card statement in one to two billing periods. What if I have a “One of a Kind” item that needs to be repaired?
If an item you purchased on this website should break within 30 days, the item will be repaired for free provided all the beads are returned. After 30 days, all repairs are $1.50 per inch plus the retail cost of any bead replacement. Please note, as our merchandise changes often, some gemstones may no longer be available for the repair of your item, in which case we will make every attempt to find something similar. We will notify you if this is the case. Please understand that jewelry damaged from chemicals or other extreme circumstances will not be accepted for a free repair at any time. If you have a repair, please contact us by phone or email to obtain a price estimate.
What are the charges for repairing a “Personalized Name Bracelet”?
If your Personalized Name Bracelet should break within 30 days, the item will be repaired for free provided all the beads are returned. If your Personalized Name Bracelet has broken and you have lost some of the beads we will repair the bracelet for one of the re-stringing fees listed below and replace the beads, crystals, charms etc… for an additional charge. Send us an email detailing the amount of loss so that we can determine the cost.

What does Margo Rask Designs recommend for jewelry care?
We recommend that you remove your Margo Rask Designs jewelry while cleaning, swimming or taking a shower/bath. Chemicals used during these activities are hard on all jewelry and WILL damage silver. In addition, you should always remove your jewelry before sleeping. Movement during sleep causes stress on all moving parts. Margo Rask Designs uses the strongest jewelry wire in the industry suitable for our bracelets and necklaces but with wear and tear, the wire does eventually need replacing. Depending on your individual lifestyle and wear and tear on your bracelet, you should have your bracelet periodically restrung to prevent breakage or loss. If you care for your jewelry properly, it will lengthen the period of time between maintenance re-stringing.
